Sessions

 

Each Wednesday from 5:30pm until 8pm.  Each recruit must be on deck and ready to go at 5:30pm, therefore we strongly recommend that they arrive by 5:20pm.

 

 

 

 

 

PT Gear

 

For each session all recruits need to be dressed in:

·        a plain white tshirt (no logos, words, etc.)

o       no loose necklines

o       no tight tshirts

·        Black shorts; we strongly recommend wearing black spandex shorts underneath

o       no tight shorts

·        white socks

  • athletic shoes

 

 

 

 

Jewelry

 

The only jewelry permitted are watches, medical items, and religious medallions.  We recommend no jewelry at all.

 

 

 

 

Hair

 

Males:

Hair will be neat and closely trimmed.  Hair will be short enough so that it does not touch the ears or hang on the nape of the neck.  The hair may be clipped at the edges of the side and back and will not be over 3 inches in length fully extended on the upper portion of the head.

 

 

 

Females:

Hair may touch the collar, but will not fall below the collar’s lower edge.  Hair that would fall naturally below the collar’s lower edge will be neatly and inconspicuously fastened or pinned.  Barrettes, combs, rubber bands, etc. are authorized if concealed by the hair.  Inconspicuous hairpins and bobby pins are authorized.  Hairnets will not be worn.

***Please note that we will conduct a class on proper hair styling.

 

 

 

 

Rules for Parents

 

·        Parents may wait in the conference room during the Young Marines sessions otherwise pickup time is 8pm.  Any Young Marine or Recruit not picked up by 8:15pm will be charged $1 per minute thereafter.

·        Parents will be only be allowed on deck during special presentations, ceremonies, or if a member of the Training Staff, Support Staff, or Marine Corps League requests it.

·        Parents will only be allowed in the classrooms during special presentations, ceremonies, or if a member of the Training Staff, Support Staff, or Marine Corps League requests it.
